Growing up Syd loved baking and had a knack for decorating, so it would only be fitting for something to grow from such a passion. Meet Syd Williams, wife, mother of three, and owner/head baker of Sweet Addiction Cakery. Growing up Syd loved baking and had a knack for decorating, so it would only be fitting for something to grow from such a passion. Though until that day would come she found pleasure in making sweet treats for family and friends. Whether it be birthdays, holidays or just because they could count on her to deliver the goods. It wasn't until 2017 when her family moved to Houston, from St. Louis, MO, that she decided that it was her time to do what she loved full time. I mean what better time would there be to make such a change. Thus that was when a passion became so much more...and Sweet Addiction Cakery was born.
